Description
Zlin [zlin] is a small utility module that can act as an audio signal and CV cross-fader, a linear VCA with drone control, a ducking VCA, or a feedback controller. It is a tool perfect for any modular environment – a missing piece of the puzzle greatly enhancing the creative potential of any system. Use it to construct unusual waveforms, simulate classic subtractive-style dynamic timbre shaping without the need for any filters, or simply morph between rich signals.
As Zlin is DC-coupled and built around a modern high-quality dual VCA chip, it delivers a wide dynamic range with low noise and distortion. A slider potentiometer with an illuminated LED provides visual feedback of the module’s state. An auxiliary jack with three selectable functions adds further flexibility for creative patching.
